What I REALLY want to say about custom embroidery!

I have a long-distance friend whose opinion I often request regarding my new designs. She wrote recently:

"I sure wish you had a whole bunch of these pictures on line. That was stunning!

. . .

I hope you're going to start putting this kind of thing up on your web page so people can see what you can really do!"

So, with a big "Thank you, Holly!" for the encouragement, I offer this page containing a sampling of some of my recent custom embroidery designs.

My purpose throughout most of this web site is to offer designs that are entertaining, interesting, and affordable for retail sale, and I always encourage my clients to add their own personal touches to any design.

I have published this page to display how artistic and creative embroidery can be. The business logos on this page are not available for sale, but are shown along with the personal designs to encourage inquiries regarding your ideas for original and unique embroidery designs.

Please use the e-mail link at the bottom of the page, and send a photograph if you wish! There is never a fee until the embroidery is approved and ready to be stitched in final form onto a product, the price is finalized and agreed upon, and the product to be embroidered is selected and placed on order.

If you would like information regarding any of the businesses represented on this page, please e-mail me and I will put you in contact!

I took this photograph with my digital camera about 3 years ago while visiting family in Massachusetts. The cottage belongs to my husband's sister, and I created the embroidery design and stitched it onto fleece jackets as a gift for Jan and her husband Mark.

This is a personal design and is available for sale.

This design was created as a surprise for my friend Holly, and is part of the reason she encouraged me to post this web page. The small picture on the left is from the Chrysler Prowler web page. The embroidery was stitched onto a bandana as a congratulatory gift when she adopted her rescue dog several months ago.

These fun designs were created for long-distance clients who host a very special party every year for friends who attend from all over the country. The lobster was inspired by the clipart shown at top left. The top design is approximately 10" wide and 15" high, and was embroidered onto flag material. We then created a garden flag that would fit on their holder. The bottom left design was stitched onto a bandana for their Pomeranian to wear to the party, and the bottom right design was stitched onto an apron for the host to wear while grilling steaks and lobster tails for their 70 guests.

This is a personal creation and may be sold.

I created this design based on the image on the left which was sent to me by e-mail. Absolute Aquarium Care is a business in Colorado Springs offering installation and maintenance of salt-water aquariums. This design is approximately 10" wide and 11" high, and was stitched onto the backs of jackets.

I created this design (using the two photos on the left as starting points) for a client in Florida who first contacted me following a web search for "Doberman gift bags". Sandy was looking for bags with pictures of Doberman Pinschers on them for her "puppy packs". I suggested tote bags as a possible alternative, and so it began!

Sandy and I have worked together long-distance for several months to develop a line of products for her kennel, including her logo shown above, keepsake puppy bandanas, unique personalized adult-size bandanas for each of the pups, keepsake photos, hats, t-shirts, bookmarks, and even labels for Frisbees!

The Legend Band is very popular in the Colorado Springs ara. I was asked to digitize their logo for hats. They provided me with a screen-printed t-shirt from which I scanned the image into my computer. The design was too large to fit on my flat-bed scanner, so I worked with the letters and the Pegasus as the separate images as shown above. The band did not want the lines or stars from the original design included in the embroidery.

This is a business logo and is not available for sale.

"Roots & Wings" was the theme of the Mountain Desert District of the Unitarian Universalist Association's conference in October 2002. This design may not be used for any other purpose, but will continue to be offered by "What I REALLY want to say!" as a fundraiser for MDD.
